First Steps in Teaching with EveryWare Online Courses

First Steps in Teaching an Online Course

In the first two workshops you were introduced to Learn EveryWare online courses, what they look like, how to find them, and how to make them accessible to students in a variety of learning environments. You also started to consider how you would use these resources in your teaching practice.

This workshop consists of four different interactive sections:

  • Case Studies - an interaction with 12 different distributed learning student case studies from across the province.
  • Course Features - An overview of some of the features of Learn EveryWare online courses.
  • Teaching with Online Courses- an exploration of the differences between online and traditional teaching and learning. Seven principles of best practices for online learning are presented.
  • Reflecting on Practice - Integrating a Learn EveryWare online course into your practice.
